DoubleTree by Hilton LogoOkay, so thankfully, NOT Paris or Nicky…we’re going to the Doubletree! The November UNWIND will be at the newly renovated Doubletree Hotel by Hilton (the old Holiday Inn at Waverly Road and 24th Street) at the up-and-coming Coaster’s Lounge. Coaster’s Lounge provides the perfect ambience for any occasion. With its big screen television and billiard table, Coaster’s is perfect for catching up on the evening news or the latest sports results. Please stop by and visit with other HYP-sters and don’t forget to sample a signature Coaster’s Ale or Red Tulip Martini. Enjoy signature entrees and apps from the West Coast Grille Menu while UNWINDing in a comfortable environment.

A crew is needed to strip remaining garden beds, prune, design and lay a new brick path. Evergreen will supply the materials, equipment, beverages and LUNCH for the crew; however, folks should bring their own gloves if so desired. “If we had just ten people we could get the job done that day!” exclaims Kathie Spitzley, Master Gardener & Community Garden Coordinator.

The Community Garden is located at Central Avenue and 20th Street with a large parking lot behind the green space, directly across from The City of Holland Greenhouse. Please RSVP by Thursday, November 1 to Adrienne Schumacher at 886.9546 or 355.1136 - friends, supervised children and spouses are all welcome, this is a family friendly environment/activity!
