Families and individuals wearing green are invited to participate in the parade and carry Irish flags. A limited number of flags will be available at no charge. All other parade participants must be registered. The number of entries is limited.
The highlight of the parade will be the appearance of the Grand Marshal, Holland’s own Irish Mayor McGeehan, and his family as well as Irish dancers, bagpipers, and kilt-wearers.

The March for Babies seeking VOLUNTEERS, NEW TEAMS, WALKERS
The March for Babies event will be held on April 19, 2008 at Kollen Park with registration starting at 8:00 am. A kickoff meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 27th, at the Macatawa Legends Golf & Country Club from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm.
The money raised goes to save premature and sick babies. Premature birth is the #1 cause of newborn death and the biggest threat to babies’ health today, and through March for Babies, the March of Dimes is funding important research to find out why premature birth happens and what can be done to prevent it.
Why walk?
- Right now, premature birth touches half a million babies and their families every year.
- Because babies born too soon are more likely to die, or have lifelong disabilities.
- Because 120,000 babies are born with serious defects every year.
- And because every baby deserves someone in their corner.

Join us on February 26th when Kevin Budelmann, President of People Design, will talk about Experience Design Planning
We have so many choices, every day, about which companies and brands to choose, what businesses to partner with, where our loyalties should be invested. How do we choose? How do we know? We have made great strides in measuring and quantifying markets and their behaviors. But the truth is most of use and rely upon gut instinct. But what is feeding The Gut? Kevin Budelmann, president of People Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan, will share his company’s point of view of “Experience Design Planning,” their deliberate and targeted method of designing confidence, loyalty, and trust right into your offering. Join Kevin for a crash course in planning your customers’ gut responses.
Kevin Budelmann likes to say he’s not the smartest guy at People Design, but that he’s smart enough to hire smart people. His modesty balances his accomplishment as the president of our firm, a designer with a rather large award horde, and speaker and judge at design events and institutions across the continent. Kevin studied computer interface design before it was cool at Carnegie Mellon University, while gaining his degree in graphic design, and before pursuing further study at The School of Design in Switzerland. Kevin likes business, studies commerce. He has studied the inner workings of many businesses in many industries for the past 15 years, learning a lot about how messages travel, how leaders communicate, how sales stories are crafted and told, what customers and clients need. He’s fascinated by large organizations, communications problems large and small, and how new technologies are both fixing problems and creating new ones. So he spends half his time helping leaders communicate, and half his time running People Design, the third half learning about new technologies, and his fourth and best half he spends as husband to Yang and Dad to Toki and Bruno.
Founded in 1997, People Design has built a reputation for Design Excellence among long standing clients and within the design community. They specialize in Identity Design, Experience Design and Communication Design. People Design has won over 300 awards and has served over 100 clients.
