St. Patrick’s Day Parade - March 15, 2008
The community of Holland, well known for its Dutch ancestry, goes Irish for the fourth year in a row as organizers commemorate St. Patrick with the annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration in Downtown Holland. The event will kick off with a spectacular St. Patrick’s Day parade at 12 pm.
Families and individuals wearing green are invited to participate in the parade and carry Irish flags. A limited number of flags will be available at no charge. All other parade participants must be registered. The number of entries is limited.
The highlight of the parade will be the appearance of the Grand Marshal, Holland’s own Irish Mayor McGeehan, and his family as well as Irish dancers, bagpipers, and kilt-wearers.

You don’t have to be a kingpin to be HYP! But we are meeting at the bowling alley. Join us at the Creekside Restaurant in Century Lanes for the March 13 UNWIND. If bowling isn’t your game, pretend it’s a warm summer afternoon on the golf course by swinging a round on the indoor golf simulator or play a game of golden tee. Still not your game? Belly up with a cold beverage to one of the three pool tables in SawBucks lounge. Or, just UNWIND and have a good meal in the atmosphere of a cozy North Woods lodge at the Creekside Restaurant.
Don’t forget your Power of One item TOOTH PASTE and TOOTH BRUSHES. Add it to your grocery list. All items are donated to the Community Action House in Holland, MI and directly benefit those in need in our community.
Location: 478 East 16th Street, Holland, MI
