EVENTS committee
One of the most active committees in HYP. Responsible for organizing and executing HYP’s signature monthly social events, to quarterly special events, to volunteer opportunities and group outings and everything in-between. This group also brings you the legendary “Inside HYP” series (taking you behind the scenes at area businesses), and our "Coffee and Conversations" and "Drinks and Discussion” series (large conversations with young local leaders as panelists on topics that matter to young professionals) Help mold HYP’s professional development activities by volunteering now.

Community committee
Are you new to the Holland/Zeeland area? Or maybe you’re the OG who has lived here all your life? Either way, your perspective is wanted! This committee connects with the community by greeting new faces at networking events and surveying event goers. The committee coordinates with the Events committees to tailor future programming to community needs. Plug into our community by joining this committee! Meets monthly.

MARKETING/ COMMUNICATIONS committee
Ever wonder who comes up with those catchy email blasts that lured you into that last UNWIND? Did you read about HYP in the paper or online? This is the committee that produces that message! This committee keeps the website content current, the email blasts breezy, creates marketing materials for events and HYP programs, and organizes publicity for HYP. Are you imaginative and organized? Do you love deadlines? They do too, so what are you waiting for? Meets monthly.

Strategic Partnerships
The fund development committee identifies and engages organizations that wish to partner with HYP by supporting HYP's annual operations, including in-kind contributions. This committee works in the future ensuring that our organization can meet the needs of our YP community when the time comes. Meets quarterly as needed.

Philanthropy Committee
The mission of the philanthropy committee is to promote the philanthropic endeavors of HYP including opportunities for community engagement, the giving of members’ time, talent and treasures to support local nonprofit organizations/community causes. This supports HYP’s mission of the Holland/Zeeland Area becoming a great place for all people to live, work and play. Meets monthly.
