EVENTS
Most active committee in HYP. Responsible for organizing and executing all of HYP’s signature events from monthly UNWIND’s to group outings and everything in-between. Just introduced: a volunteering/civic service subcommittee which organizes public service initiatives. You already attend the events, volunteer to make them happen! Meets monthly.
MEMBERSHIP
Primary focus on retention is recruitment of members to HYP. Involved in maintaining database for group networking purposes. In the future, will work on membership based incentives with local businesses, etc. Works closely with events and marketing committees keeping HYP members informed. How can you help? Meets monthly.
MARKETING/COMMUNICATIONS
Ever wonder who comes up with those catchy email blasts that lured you into that last UNWIND? Did you read about HYP in the paper or online? This is the committee that produces that message! This committee keeps the website content current, the email blasts breezy, creates marketing materials for events and organizes publicity for HYP. Are you imaginative and organized? Do you love deadlines like your grandmother’s prized spaghetti sauce? They do too, so what are you waiting for? Meets monthly.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Have some great ideas on how HYP can help develop new professionals like yourself? Fine tune your skill set and gain valuable information on industry trends and activities by participating on this committee. This group brings you the legendary “E 2 E” series by partnering with Lakeshore Advantage. Help mold HYP’s professional development activities by volunteering now. Meets monthly.
FUND DEVELOPMENT
The fund development committee identifies and engages organizations that wish to partner with HYP by providing services, and/or donations, (monetary or promotional materials) to be used as give-aways or sponsorships. Meets as needed.
