2024-2025 Board Nominations

 

MISSION, PLACE, AND PEOPLE

HYP is led by an all-volunteer team of board members who share a common goal in fulfilling HYP’s mission. Once a year, nominations to the board are reviewed, and nominees invited to apply and interview.

The following board roles will be open for nominations and applications:

  • Treasurer - Responsible for the oversights and management of all HYP funds.

  • Secretary - Responsible for the coordination and record keeping of the organization.

  • Philanthropic Partnerships - Identifies and coordinates YP promoting Philanthropic endeavors including the disbursement of the Endowment fund.

  • Ad-Hoc - Pioneers special projects at the discretion of the board and provides committee support.

FAQ

  • There are many benefits to joining the HYP Board of Directors. In addition to being a terrific entry level board experience, a board member can expect to meet community leaders, gain practical skills in committee building and management, and connect to a sense of community ownership.

  • A board term consists of 2 years. Additionally, no officer may hold the same office for more than two consecutive terms. Any term in excess of six months is considered a full term.
